This awesome app is a super fast way to quickly capture those fleeting moments. Simply add an icon to your homescreen and the next time you see something you want to photograph, point your phone in that general direction and tap the icon. That’s it. The picture will then be saved to your gallery. You didn’t have to wait for the app to open, focus or even click the shutter button. It’s a one step process that will ensure you capture those easy-to-miss moments. Some of you might be thinking, “Ya right…how am I supposed to take a decent picture without seeing what I’m shooting?” Well, the developer of the app has you covered. There’s a second icon that you can add to your screen that will take multiple, continuous shots until you press the icon again, ensuring that you’ll get at least one good shot out of the few dozen snapped.
The app costs $3 and is available on Google Play. Three dollars is a little pricey for a camera app, but if making sure you don’t miss any more important photos is a high priority for you, it might be worth your coin. Just hit one of the download links to get started.

Xbox Smartglass lands on Android | Android Community:
Once you’ve done that, you can use your Android phone
as a remote control when you’re playing videos on your Xbox 360, with Microsoft giving you the ability to stop, start, pause, fast forward, and rewind video using your handset. You can also use Smartglass to navigate you content libraries on your console using your device, so the feeling that Smartglass turns your phone into another 360 controller is definitely present.

Plague Inc. For Android Now Available – Create a Disease, Kill Off Humanity, What’s Not To Love?:
After infecting 1.3 million users on iOS, Plague Inc is now officially available for Android. No, this isn’t more Android malware, this is a game, sillies. The internet has been abuzz over this title and although I couldn’t quite find myself getting into it, maybe you’ll have a better time unleashing a plague onto the world. I’m not quite sure how to classify Plague Inc. It doesn’t quite fit into your normal gaming genres. For arguments sake, we’ll just go ahead and call it a strategy game, one that allows players to create a plague, make it strong, and eventually kill off every human on the planet. I heard it was found in Bin Laden’s iPhone before he — nevermind.

Moborobo Review: The all-in-one PC Manager for your Android phone | TalkAndroid.com: "Moborobo is an all-in-one PC manager that’s been around for several months now for your Android phone and/or tablet. Now I know a lot of seasoned Android users might not find a lot of use for it, but I know there are a lot of you that’s either new to Android or recently migrated to Android from iOS. I think Moborobo might just be the right application for those users especially if you’re used to syncing your phone with your desktop. Moborobo will allow you to backup your phone/tablet’s contacts, apps, text messages, music, wallpapers, and videos. It also gives you a file manager, the ability to install or delete apps, make ringtones, and install various wallpapers. That is certainly a lot of features, so how well does Moborobo do at getting the job done? Hit the break to find out."

Nexus 7 makes the best in-car entertainment system ever | Android Central
Nexus 7 makes the best in-car entertainment system ever | Android Central: "The folks at SonicElectronix have just built my dream car. Not because it's a big gas-guzzling Dodge RAM, or because it has black leather interior. Those are both great things, but they took the double-din head unit out and replaced it with a compartment to hold a Google Nexus 7 tablet to drive it over the edge for me. "

Megatroid review - close enough to Metroid | Android Central
Megatroid review - close enough to Metroid | Android Central: "Megatroid came to Android recently, offering what will likely be the closest thing to a Metroid game we’ll ever see on mobile. There are a few things that make Megatroid much more than that though, including procedurally-created levels which ensure a fresh play-through every time, and a wide variety of high-tech weaponry than can be acquired through the course of gameplay or through in-app purchases.
For a free game, the graphics and action in Megatroid are excellent, rich with neon lighting and plenty of 3D models (despite the game’s side-scrolling nature)."

Smart Tools turns any Android device into a handyman's best friend | Android Central
Smart Tools turns any Android device into a handyman's best friend | Android Central:
Smart Tools has earned one of the top seller spots in Google Play by offering a whole suite of useful measurement tools for Android devices. These run the gamut of distance, angles, and even sound, vibration, and magnetic fields. Sensors like your Android device's accelerometer, magnetometer, camera, and microphone all act in concert to offer rough measurements, if not clean and precise ones. The developer offers a bunch of these tools stand-alone apps in addition to the single paid bundle for $2.50; the only one that isn't included in the bundle is the Speed Gun, which is available for free separately.

ES FIle Explorer
There's no shortage of file management tools to help you dig around the folders on your Android phone that are largely hidden from your UI, but even though your manufacturer may have included one, it usually keeps you restricted to your music, photos, and other user folders. ES File Explorer, on the other hand, gives you complete freedom to navigate your phone's file system. We think it's the best of the crop, mostly because it also gives you control over applications, lets you perform batch file operations, has a built-in FTP client, lets you search all of the files on your device, and more.
MoboPlayer
MoboPlayer is our favorite media player for Android, and we love it so much we want to include it here too. MoboPlayer has never balked at a file we've thrown at it, supports subtitles built-in to video and subtitle files, multi-audio streams, video streamed from network sources, and virtually any file you can get onto your Android device. If you have a file that gives you trouble, select "software decoding" and it'll usually play, or there may even be a codec available to download for that type of file. Best of all, it's fast, lightweight, and completely free.
